Hello Hallmark, I concur with the reviews here that your channels lack diversity in leading roles. I love watching the movies with my family annually.

However, there is no representation of families with faces like ours that love the holidays, love the season, love giving, love love, or could be into the same things.

I feel like you are inferring that only people of one color could ever experience these things let alone be on the television screen. I hope this is not the case and hope to see color on Hallmark all year long and especially during this time of year when you are spreading holiday joy from October to January.

Reason of review: Hallmark channel lacks multicultural diversity.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I enjoy the Hallmark Channel holiday movies, and have a few observations. First, there is a lack of diversity in representation of the main characters.

While secondary or background characters are represented in limited exposure for African American, Hispanics, Native American and Asian Americans.

Second, the holiday season is only depicted in areas that have snow and cold, where as there are places where it is warm and coats are required experience the holiday season also. The Hallmark Channel has the opportunity to be the medium that shows the hopes, lives and experiences(real and imagined) using a box of Crayola crayons.

I totally agree with the comment of the lack of diversity on your channel. It's not a real depiction of America.

People of color believe in love, romance, marriage, good morals, and love our country.

You're really not addressing the elephant in the room...and your failure to cast people of color in your lead roles is so very transparent and displays an underlying theme of racial bias!

Wake up...Change is long over due!
